A banjo bolt is a hydraulic or pneumatic fitting commonly used in automotive and industrial applications. It's called a "banjo" bolt because its unique shape resembles one. It has a round, flat flange on one side and a threaded shaft on the other. The banjo bolt is then used to connect two pieces of tubing or hose.

This is usually done by screwing the threaded shaft into one component and sandwiching the other component between the flange and a retaining nut. Banjo bolts have an advantage over other fasteners in that they allow you to adjust the angle at which the two pieces are connected. This is especially useful in situations where there isn't much wiggle room.
