A local hex bolt is a fastener with a hexagonal (six-sided) head and threaded shaft. It is designed to securely fasten two or more components together, typically using a nut or inserted into a pre-tapped hole.
Local Hex Bolt
Hex bolts are either fully threaded or partially threaded. The threading enables the bolt to screw into a compatible nut or threaded hole, creating a secure connection. The hex head allows easy gripping and turning with a wrench or socket tool.
Local hex bolts are typically made of mild steel, which is generally softer and may not be as durable as imported hex bolts (made from high-tensile graded steel).
